About the ranch
A family-run estate in Shida Kartli, beside the 3,000-year-old cave city of Uplistsikhe.
Rancho Uplistsikhe sits in the Mtkvari valley, under the slopes of the ancient city carved into the rock. We make wine, keep horses, and host guests at one long table.
The rooms are built of stone and timber, and breakfast comes from the valley. In the morning, golden light falls on the cliffs; in the evening, a fire burns in the yard.
